Improve self-driven learning
PRO provides a way of delivering those personalised learning moments, cost effectively.
To support our leaders to develop and improve we need to create resources which they can pull upon when and where they need to, creating learning moments that are personalised and delivered at the point of need.
Practice-based learning delivered at the point of need to prepare learners for important, upcoming interactions.
How it works
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to practice any conversation before having it? PRO gives you that facility. For example, if you need to have a challenging conversation today, you can schedule a practice session in the morning, go through your approach with a trained actor, briefed to play the right style, and receive feedback to help you improve; and even try it more than once.
How does it improve learning?
- The learning happens exactly when it is needed
- It builds confidence and capability
- The learner is creating and testing their own solutions
Benefits for the employer
- Leaders have better conversations with their team which increases employee engagement
- Leaders normally have to learn (and make mistakes) ‘live’
- Frees up HR resources in having to coach the leader, or even be present in the real interaction
Making coaching even more effective with observable practice sessions.
What is it?
A 3-way interaction in which the learner practices a particular interaction with the actor, observed by their coach. The coach can then provide feedback to be worked on during subsequent coaching sessions.
How does it improve learning?
- Enables the coach to focus on observation and feedback
- With immediate feedback from the coach, the learner can try a second and third approach to see what really works
- The learner feels the benefit of the behavioural change
Benefits for the employer

A great resource that puts the learner in control of what they want to learn through practice.
What is it?
A resource that learners can access 24/7 in which they can practice their chosen skill and receive feedback. The learner completes a brief for the actor, potentially linked to a particular competence, so that they can practice learning specific to them and receive feedback. Could also be observed by their manager or L&D.
How does it improve learning?
- The individual chooses what they want to work on, when and in what style
- Practice and feedback are all that is required to learn
- Can try 2 or 3 of their own solutions to see what works best
- It’s private, but can be observed if required
Benefits for the employer
- A recognisably valuable benefit for employees, which could significantly increase engagement
- Can be used by managers and their teams, giving managers a safe space to help their team develop
- Can be focused on particular skills the employer wants to develop
